Privacy Policy for Kwek Kwek

This Privacy Policy explains what information the mobile game Kwek Kwek ("the App", "we", "us") collects, why, and your choices. By using the App you agree to this policy.

1. Information we collect

The App does not require you to create an account or sign in. It collects the following:

• Display name — a nickname you type in for the leaderboard. It is optional and can be anything; it is not verified and is not tied to your real identity.
• Game scores — your run score and the area reached, submitted automatically to a global leaderboard at the end of every run.
• A random device identifier — a random string generated on your device the first time you play, stored locally and sent with your scores so the leaderboard can show your own ranking. It is not your device's hardware ID, phone number, or any government/advertising identifier, and it does not identify you personally.
• Local game data — your settings, unlocked cosmetic items, in-game currency and personal high scores are stored only on your device (in the app's local storage) and are not sent to us.

2. Advertising

The App displays ads served by Google AdMob. Google may collect and use data (including an advertising identifier and device information) to serve and measure ads. This processing is governed by Google's own policies:

You can reset or limit ad personalization at any time through your device's settings (Android: Settings → Google → Ads; iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking / Apple Advertising).

3. How we use information

• To operate the global leaderboard and show your ranking.
• To display advertising that helps support the App.
• To save your progress and preferences on your device.

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Where data is stored

Leaderboard entries (display name, score, area reached, and the random device identifier) are stored using Supabase, our database and hosting provider. See Supabase's privacy policy at supabase.com/privacy.

5. Data retention and deletion

Local game data is removed when you uninstall the App or clear its storage in your device settings. To request deletion of a leaderboard entry associated with your device, contact us at the email below and include your display name and approximate score; we will remove matching entries.

6. Children's privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information, contact us and we will delete it.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under GDPR or CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, or delete information about you. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date.
